Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) is a non-profit organization established in 1999 with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship in Japanese society.
CED works closely with education, business and government sectors to make a difference in our communities while developing the skills of youth to become socially responsible future leaders with entrepreneurship.
CED brings together a diverse network of students from primary to university, academic professionals and industry leaders around the shared mission of creating a better, more sustainable world through the positive power of entrepreneurship.
We provide professional development programs along with teaching materials for entrepreneurshipeducation, such as teachers textbooks, students workbooks, web-based learning kits, or simulated business programs.
We also hold series of national and international competitions. Participating students form teams and apply business concepts to develop outreach projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. These events provide an opportunity for young people to present the results of their projects or challenges to show their ideas for problem solving. They are evaluated by business leaders serving as judges.
By contributing their talents to such projects that improve their community, CED participants are demonstrating that individuals with passion and skills for business can be a powerful force for change of society.
Our mission is to build an entrepreneurial society though nurturing entrepreneurship in young people and establish supporting environment in the community. The Center For Entrepreneurship Development (CED) aims to function as a bridge between the worlds of education and work by developing and providing entrepreneurship education and training programs as well as serving as a resource center.
