来日したインドネシアからの研修生

I do believe that youth should act as a youth that have curiousity to learn something new and brave to take a step farther. Through Gerakan Mari Berbagi Japan Homestay 2016, I have been taught those value in a real life where big challenges and opportunities arise simultaneously however it obviously could accelerate you to become the genuine youth.
I was staying in Japan around one month with a lot of activities within it. In Japan, GMB gave me a chance to have internship in HORIBA company specifically in Process & Enviromental Division since i am studying Enviromental Engineering. I thought this was the uniqueness of this program that was not only give a chance to homestay but provide a best activities on it. In Horiba company, I got an opportunity to meet President of HORIBA in montly birthday party. He taught me about having a big dream, based on his experience, dream could be the powerful tool to keep you on the track and always having high spirit since you know it would bring you to a good condition.
I was living with Fujiwara Family which the family that I definitely felt like my family in Indonesia. The atmosphere of love, fun, and sharing as one family happened spontaneously. They were my loyal supporter who always supported me when my internship was not easy to get by. From this GMB Japan Homestay I also learned that eventhough my day was tough and I felt alone , I always remember that my host family always waiting for my new stories. Thank you.

来日したインドネシアからの研修生

I am so grateful to become the participant of GMB Japan Homestay 2016 because it has greatly adding precious value both in my professional career and personal life.
In Japan, I had an internship at Kyoto Convention and Visitor Bureau (KCVB), a tourism NGO for Kyoto City and Province. I learned how they attract more tourists all over the world, how they seriously making the city to be more friendly to Muslim tourist, how they preserve culture, and how the government system can help to boost the tourism. It is important for me because I worked for the government of Indonesia. This opportunity helps me to see what’s need to be fixed and what can we do more to make Indonesia tourism as famous as Japan tourism.
My homestay was in Mizuho’s house where she lives with her heart-warming parents, I called them okasan and otosan. In there, I enjoyed having a daily life in Japan. Even thought, mostly I didn’t understand the language, but we can communicate by heart. Mizuho is a cheerful kind hearted sister, she took me to places and taught me how to survive living in Japan. I rode bicycle everyday and saw sakura along the way. I got lost looking around in the narrow streets peacefully. Small things I did in Japan has made a deep impression. I love the time I spent there with new friends, new experience, and new knowledge. Thank you.
